It helps if you tell us the email on your account, what you were trying to do, and what happened instead. If something looks wrong on a specific screen, a screenshot saves a lot of back and forth.

BenchWork builds a study plan that works around your season. The fastest setup is three steps.

1. Add your season. In Settings, set your season start and end dates, your sport, and your school. This is what lets the plan treat game weeks differently from open weeks.

2. Import your schedule. On the Calendar tab, upload your team schedule and BenchWork reads the games, travel, and times out of it. You can also add events by hand.

3. Import a syllabus. On the Classes tab, upload a course syllabus as a PDF. BenchWork pulls out the assignments, exams, and due dates, and you can correct anything it misreads before saving.

From there the Today tab shows what to work on, and Grades tracks where each class stands.

An import missed something. Syllabi and schedules are formatted every way imaginable, so imports are a starting point rather than the last word. Everything an import creates can be edited or deleted, and you can always add an assignment manually.

The eligibility numbers. BenchWork estimates eligibility standing from the credits and grades you enter. It is a planning aid, not an official determination. Your compliance office is the only authority on your eligibility, so check anything that matters with them.

Reminders are not arriving. Check that notifications are allowed for BenchWork in the iPhone Settings app, then check your reminder preferences in BenchWork Settings.

Face ID stopped working. Log out and sign in once with your email and password, then enable Face ID again. Logging out clears the stored sign-in token on purpose.

What happens after the trial. When the free trial ends, your account stays open and nothing is deleted. You can still read everything; adding and editing resume when you subscribe.

If you subscribed in the iPhone app, Apple handles the billing. To view the plan, change it, or cancel, open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Refund requests for App Store purchases go to Apple.

If you subscribed on the BenchWork website, manage or cancel the plan from the billing section in Settings.

Deleting your account. Open Settings, then Delete account. It removes your profile, classes, grades, assignments, calendar, notes, and any connected Canvas account. Deletion is immediate and permanent, and there is no copy kept. If you subscribed through Apple, cancel that subscription in the Settings app as well, because we cannot cancel it for you.

Getting a copy of your data. Email us and we will send you an export.
